The IC300RCS210 is similar to the IC300OCS100, IC300OCS200, and IC300OCS250 modules, but the IC300RCS210 lacks the keypad and display. And while the other three modules are designed to be mounted on a panel door, the IC300RCS210 is back panel mounted.
The OCS100 and OCS200 incorporate membrane keypads to allow the operator to enter information into the controller. This same information can be entered via a remote PC using Cscape's Remote Text Term function if the PC is connected to the CsCAN network. The RCS210 does not have a local keypad but still supports Cscape's Remote Text Term function. The faceplate is made of Autotex polyester by Autotype. The material is resistant to most corrosive substances found in industrial environments. The material also holds up well in most industrial conditions. If used outdoors, the material can yellow or crack.
