A ProSoft module is an industrial communication interface designed by ProSoft Technology that enables different automation systems to exchange data. Powerful data processing capabilities: With a 10,000-word database, more device data can be collected, operating performance can be improved, and enhanced functions and flexibility can be enjoyed without expensive reprogramming costs.
Easy to integrate: Operates as an input/output module on the ControlLogix backplane, presents Modbus data as I/O data to the processor, simplifies the process of adding modules to RsLogix 5000 projects, and has Add-On Profile capabilities.
Backward compatibility: All MVI56E products are backward compatible with earlier MVI56 modules and can be directly replaced without changing the existing controller program.
Convenient remote access: CIP Connect® functionality allows remote user access across the ControlLogix backplane via Rockwell Automation's 1756-ENBT module, facilitating configuration, diagnosis, and analysis of process data and communication status.
Rich diagnostic capabilities: Features a 4-character, scrolling alphanumeric LED display that displays status and diagnostic data in English, and also provides error codes, network error counters, and port status data, allowing users to quickly locate and resolve problems.
