Core Functions
IC660BBD020 16-channel configurable discrete I/O module contains 16 discrete circuits. Each channel can be independently set as an input, output or tri-state input according to control requirements, thereby enhancing the configurational flexibility.
✅ Wide voltage compatibility
Supports 24 VDC and 48 VDC power inputs, adapting to various on-site power supply styles and equipment standards.
✅ Advanced on-site diagnosis function
IC660BBD020 16-channel configurable discrete I/O module integrates various on-site diagnostic tests, including short circuit, open circuit, overheating, overload and no-load status judgments, facilitating fault analysis in the engineering site.
✅ Genius Communication Bus Interface
It is connected to the main controller or other I/O modules through the Genius Bus communication interface, supporting the serial expansion type I/O architecture design.
✅ Quick response time
The input response time and output response time are both only a few milliseconds, which can meet the real-time requirements of industrial automation control.

Product Advantages
Integrated diagnosis enhances reliability.
The powerful self-diagnosis capability can effectively detect faulty circuits or installation issues in advance, helping engineers quickly locate on-site problems and reduce downtime.
The system has a strong adaptability.
Based on the Genius bus architecture design, this module can achieve stable integration within the existing control system and support the addition of I/O nodes within the network capacity limit, facilitating the phased expansion and renovation implementation of the system.
Adapt to complex industrial environments.s
IC660BBD020 16-channel configurable discrete I/O module can operate stably within the working temperature range of 0–60 °C and inside the industrial control cabinet, providing a stable I/O connection capability for various industrial process control.

FAQ
Q: After the module is powered on, the "Unit OK" or "I/O Enabled" indicator light does not illuminate or shows abnormal flashing.
A:√ Use a stable power supply (24/48 VDC) and combine it with a DC voltage stabilizer or UPS.
√ Check whether the cross-sectional area of the power line is sufficient to avoid excessive voltage drop during power supply.
√ Strengthen the grounding wire connection, minimize the length of the grounding wire as much as possible, and use appropriate terminals and bolts to fix the module base.
√ Check whether the wiring of the Genius Bus is correct, whether the terminal has been equipped with a terminal resistor, and whether the communication line is damaged or wrongly connected.
Q: The module does not respond when the external sensor is triggered.
A: √ Confirm that the sensor type is compatible with the module, and correctly connect the three wires ( +24V, 0V, output signal ) according to the instructions.
√ Use a multimeter to check whether the voltages and currents at the terminals are normal, especially whether the switch quantity inputs can reach the logical minimum/maximum values.
√ Adjust the filtering time and set the appropriate filtering value according to the pulse width of the on-site signal.
√ Check whether the cables are excessively routed together with the PLC ground wire, which may cause signal attenuation.
Q: The IC660BBD020 module may exhibit unstable performance or shortened lifespan when operating continuously in high-temperature, high-humidity, dusty or corrosive gas environments.
A:√ Use control cabinets equipped with air conditioning or ventilation systems.
√ Install dust filters, protective covers, or isolation covers to prevent dust from entering the module.
√ Install temperature/humidity monitoring sensors, with alarms triggered when exceeding the threshold or automatic power-off protection in place.
