Product Details
140ATI03000 Input channel and measurement type
This module is used to collect signals from thermocouple sensors and can support the following common types of thermocouples and their typical temperature ranges.
Type S thermocouple: approximately -50 °C to +1665 °C
Type R thermocouple: approximately -50 °C to +1665 °C
T-type thermocouple: approximately -270 °C to +400 °C
K-type thermocouple: approximately -270 °C to +1370 °C
Type E thermocouple: approximately -270 °C to +1000 °C
Type J thermocouple: approximately -210 °C to +760 °C
Supports multiple types of thermocouples for different on-site temperature measurement requirements.
Input resolution and impedance
Analog input resolution
The module offers 16-bit resolution for capturing the voltage signal output by the thermocouple.
Input impedance
An input impedance greater than 1 MΩ can reduce the loading impact on the sensor's own circuit.
Accuracy and measurement error
Absolute accuracy error
For S and R type thermocouples: ±4 °C + 0.1 % read
For T, K, J, E type thermocouples: ±2 °C + 0.1 %
These error expression modules represent the typical deviation range under certain measurement conditions.
Linear error
Linear error varies depending on the type of thermocouple and the temperature range. Typical ranges include ±1 °C or ±0.1 °C, etc.
Temperature drift
Under the condition of environmental temperature variation, the measurement output error of the module will drift to a certain extent with the temperature change. This drift is usually expressed as ±0.15 microvolts /°C or ±0.0015 % reading /°C.
Cold junction compensation and signal filtering
Cold Junction Compensation
The module is equipped with built-in cold junction compensation to compensate for the cold junction temperature of the thermocouple, improving the accuracy of temperature measurement. The applicable ambient temperature range for compensation is approximately 0 to 60 °C.
Signal filtering function
The module includes two types of filters to optimize the input signal quality:
Unipolar low-pass filter: -3 dB cut-off frequency in the region of approximately 20 Hz can reduce high-frequency noise interference
Notch filter: -3 dB in the 50/60 Hz region, used to reduce frequency interference in power systems
Update time and data processing
Data update time
When reading all channels and updating their values to the system data area, the average update time of the module is approximately 1000 ms.
Isolation and anti-interference capabilities
To maintain signal integrity in complex industrial environments, this module has the following isolation capabilities:
The channel is isolated from the bus
About 1780 V AC for 60 seconds
Approximately 2500 V DC for 60 seconds
Isolation between channels
Approximately 300 V DC or the corresponding AC isolation rating
The isolation structure helps to reduce electrical interference between different circuits.
Common-mode interference suppression
The module has a strong ability to suppress common-mode interference, which is conducive to improving the anti-electromagnetic interference effect.
Fault detection and status indication
140ATI03000 supports common input fault detection, including:
Broken wire detection
Overtracking scale
Local status indicator lights include:
One green LED: Indicates the bus communication status
One red LED: Indicates an external fault of the module
Eight green LEDs: They respectively indicate that the corresponding channels are in a normal activated state
Eight red LEDs: They respectively indicate faults in the corresponding channels
These LED displays can be used for on-site status observation and rapid fault location.
Power demand and power consumption
Bus current demand
The current demand for the control system bus during the operation of the module is approximately 280 mA.
Power consumption
The power consumption of the module is approximately 1.5 W, which can be obtained through the system bus power supply.
Working environment and reliability
Operating temperature range
Applicable to field environments of approximately 0 to 60 °C.
Storage temperature range
Approximately -40 to 85 °C, which can meet the storage conditions of most installation environments.
Relative humidity
Up to approximately 95 % (non-condensing state).
Altitude range
It is usually suitable for installation environments at an altitude of approximately 5000 m.
Anti-interference ability
140ATI03000 design takes into account anti-static and electromagnetic interference, meeting the immunity requirements of industrial field environments.
