SST-PFB3-VME-2 VME Profibus Interface Card, through which it can be easily integrated into the VME system, supports Profibus protocol, can execute Profibus protocol at the same time, manage DP-V1 services, and has internal flash memory for storing configuration data. SST-PFB3-VME-2 provides two independent PROFIBUS communication interface channels (Channels), and each channel can:
As the DP Master (main station), control the PROFIBUS slave nodes;
As a DP Slave (from the station), it exchanges data with the master station equipment.
SST-PFB3-VME-2 features
SST-PFB3-VME-2 adopts the standard VMEbus format (such as a 6U size board card), is compatible with the VME64x standard, and can be inserted into the standard VME chassis slot. It can work seamlessly with VME processing boards, storage boards, and other communication boards.
OPC data access: supports OPC data access server V3.0, convenient for data interaction with other industrial software applications.
Status monitoring: equipped with LED indicators to display Profibus faults, system faults, Profibus status, and PLC operation/programming status, etc., so that users can monitor the operation status and fault information of the equipment in real time.
