Product Introduction
ABE040(204-040-100-011) is a VM600 system framework, 19-inch 6U high, with 15 slots for fixed single or dual-slot cards, up to 12 functional cards (MPC4/AMC8/XMV16), suitable for cabinets in the industrial environment installation of panels. This rack serves as the mechanical support structure for the entire VM600 series hardware and provides functions such as power distribution, module interconnection, and signal bus interface. It is an indispensable infrastructure for the normal operation of the VM600 system.

Product Details
204-040-100-011 ABE040 system rack's main functional modules include:
info@htechplc.com
Mechanical support and module installation
The rack provides standardized slots, enabling various VM600 series modules to be securely installed and arranged in a standardized manner. This supports quick module insertion and removal as well as facilitating on-site maintenance.
Internal backplane interconnection
The rack-mounted integrated backplane provides not only power distribution lines but also serves for signal communication between modules, including:
VME bus (the main communication bus for module interconnection)
Tachometer (Speed Signal Bus)
Raw / OC (Original Signal and Open-Circuit Collector Signal Bus)
Power distribution lines
Power module slot and redundancy capability
The rack provides at least two RPS6U power module slots, which can be used for:
✔ Single power supply
✔ Redundant power supply (If one power supply fails, the other power supply will automatically take over to ensure the continuous operation of the system)
Power check relay
The rear part of the rack is equipped with a power supply check relay, which is used to monitor the working status of the power module and send power failure signals to the external control or monitoring system, thereby enhancing the overall diagnostic capability.
The front of the framework is used to install CPUM/MPC4/AMC8/XMC16 and other processing card parts, and the RPS6U power supply. The rear is used to install IOCN/IOC4T/IOC8T/XIO16T/RLC16/IRC4 and other IO and relay cards, as well as the power input backplane. The slot used should be covered with a blind plate.
An internally integrated VME backplane bus, the card parts include power supply, signal processing, data collection, input and output for all electrical isolation.
Rack dimensions and installation standards:
Standard rack width: 19 inches
Shell: Squeeze the aluminum structure; the top and bottom are plastic slide rails.
Power input: two-way AC and DC power input terminals (with RFI filtering) and switch.
Power output: Single or redundant RPS6U modules are powered by other cards on the frame, and the power supply voltage is +5 VDC, ± 12 VDC.
Backboard: VME bus, and RAW/OC/TACHO bus for communication between card parts.
Electricity relay: normal action capacity (resistance load) is 4 A / 250 VAC, 3 A / 30 VDC; the maximum action voltage is 250 VAC, 48 VDC (30 to 48 VDC <0.5 A); 3 ADC.
System rack characteristics:
VM600MK2/VM600 ABE040 and ABE042 system racks are used to install the M600MK2/VM600 series mechanical protection and/or status monitoring system. The two are very similar; the difference is only the location of the bracket. Both have a standard height of 6U and provide up to 15 single-width VM600MK2/VM600 modules (card pairs) installation space, or a combination of single-width and multi-wide modules (cards).
You can install 1 or 2 RPS6U power supplies on the rack to support the module (card) of module (card) under a wider range of environmental conditions.
204-040-100-011 Rack Structure
The rack is divided into two main sections: the front and the rear.
➤ Front slot area
Used for installing the main processing module and control module, for example:
CPU module (responsible for the data, logic control and communication of the entire rack system)
MPC4 / AMC8 data processing modules
The front slots typically range from Slot 00 to Slot 14 (depending on the specific layout) and are used for inserting functional modules.
➤ Rear slot position. The rear part is mainly used for installing input/output cards, relay cards, power modules (RPS6U), etc. The number of these components is also adjusted according to the number of modules inserted at the front end.
The modules are connected through the backplane, achieving:
✨ Signal communication between modules
✨ Electrical connection between modules and power supply
✨ Signal isolation and transmission with external sensorscontrols systems
This "module space + backplane circuit" structure is the standard organization method for the VM600 series system.
