The ABE040 and ABE042 are very similar, differing only in the position of the mounting brackets.

 

ABE040:
The ear is installed at the front end of the rack (Front Mount).
The front panel is level with the front pillar of the cabinet.
It is suitable for most standard 19-inch control cabinets.
It is the most common rack model in the VM600 project.

 

ABE042:
The ear is located at the rear end of the rack (Rear Mount).
The entire rack is moved inward towards the cabinet.
More space is reserved for front-end cables, module handles, and maintenance areas.
It is commonly used in situations with limited space or in special cabinet layouts.
