Product Introduction
125840-01 is the rear panel of the power / I/O module for rack power supply and I/O functions in the Bently Nevada 3500/15 series. It is used to supply power to the entire rack and provide status signals. It supplies power to the entire 3500/15 module rack through an AC power source and feeds the power status back to the monitoring equipment or control system through the output signal.

The installation location of 125840-01 is generally:
✔ The rackcompliese with Bentley 3500 specifications
✔ Installed in the rear power slot of the 3500 rack,
✔ Working in coordination with other functional modules on the front of the 3500 rack.
Note: This module is not an independent device. It must be used in conjunction with the front panel of the entire rack system (such as the 127610-01 front panel) and other modules.

Installation in coordination with the back panel operation
125840-01 Operation
1. Confirm the status of the 3500 rack
Turn off the overall power supply for the 3500 racks and ensure that the system is completely powered off.
If there is a backup power supply or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) in the rack, the corresponding output should also be disconnected.
2 . Inserting the power module and the backplane
125840-01, as the power input module, usually needs to be combined with "power module" 127610-01etcc.:
The power module 127610-01 should be placed in the designated slot on the left side of the rack (usually the lowest slot).
The 125840-01 on the back is inserted into the corresponding backplane slot on the back of the power module. Ensure that the rails inside the slot are clean and free of dust.
3. Power supply connection wiring
125840-01 The back panel usually has power input terminals, which are used to connect the field cables.
4. Power on and check the status of the Power Input Module
The module usually has status indicator outputs and LED indicators: The "Supply OK / Power OK" indicator light is located on the front of the power module. It is illuminated when the output voltage of the power supply is normal, and the module is operating properly.
Redundant I/O Module Installation Reminder:
Safe with dual power supply operation. When disassembling or replacing a PIM:
⚠ If there is no second backup power supply, completely power off the system before proceeding with the operation. Otherwise, there is a risk of power interruption to other system modules.
⚠ Before performing any operation, please ensure that the entire system is in a non-dangerous state and mark and isolate the site.
Operating the 125840-01 backplane power module in the 3500 system involves key points such as power connection, installation and disassembly, backplane matching, status feedback, and safe operation. It is necessary to:
Carry out power-off isolation and safety preparations;
Make sure that the backplate and the power module are properly matched.
Carry out daily inspections and maintenance in accordance with the official manual instructions.
Risk identification and protective measures (such as grounding, anti-static measures, etc.) are in place.
