Interconnection Cables Usage
Confirm the supporting equipment: Identify the models and specifications of the sensors, proximal end sensors, and other devices to be connected, and ensure the cables are compatible with these devices. For example, if connecting a 330525, confirm that the lengths of the probe, extension cable, and proximal end sensor match the required lengths.
Inspect the cable: Carefully inspect the cable for damage, breaks, or fraying to ensure it is in good physical condition. Also, check the cable connectors for damage, deformation, or contamination.
Connecting the sensor to the cable: Connect one end of the cable to the sensor connector. Ensure the connector is clean and free of oil, dirt, or other impurities. For some high-frequency connectors, tighten them by hand. Then, insert a sleeve over the connector for insulation and protection.
Connecting the cable to the preamplifier: Connect the other end of the cable to the corresponding connector on the preamplifier. Again, ensure the connection is secure and prevent any looseness. Secure the preamplifier in the appropriate position, depending on its mounting method, such as rail mounting or panel mounting.
Visual Inspection: Check that the cable connections are secure and that there are no signs of loosening or detachment at the connectors. Check that the cables are securely fastened and that the routing meets the requirements.
Electrical Testing: Use a multimeter or other tool to test the electrical properties of the cables, such as resistance and insulation resistance, to ensure they are functioning properly. Also, power on the equipment to check that the sensors and preamplifiers are functioning properly and transmitting signals accurately.

FAQ
Q: Interface compatibility
A: The interface form of the on-site equipment (such as M12, BNC, Mil-C-26482, etc.) must match the cable connector. When selecting, the configuration of the cable accessories should be determined based on the interface standards of the sensors and monitoring modules.
Q: Use the appropriate length
A: When purchasing and using the Bently Nevada 106765 series interconnect cables, select the appropriate cable length based on the wiring distance of the on-site equipment. If the on-site space is large or the distance is far, you can consider the longer versions, ns such as 106765,-25 first.
Q: 106765 Series Cable Compatibility
A: The 106765 series cables can be connected to the monitoring modules of Bently Nevada 3300 and 3500 series, as well as the sensors of Proximitor® and Velomitor® types.
