IC697CMM741 Communication function

10/100 Mbps Ethernet Interface: This module provides a standard 10/100 Mbps Ethernet communication interface, suitable for most industrial network environments, and supports Ethernet-based protocols such as Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP.

Independent operation: As an independent module, IC698ETM001 does not rely on other processing units and can operate independently, providing flexible network connection options.

Device connection: Through this Standalone Ethernet Module, the RX7i system can be connected to other devices (such as HMI, PC, remote I/O devices, etc.), supporting remote data acquisition, device monitoring and control.

IC697CMM741 Network communication protocol

Supports Modbus TCP protocol and is capable of communicating with a wide range of devices and systems.

Supports Ethernet/IP protocol and is suitable for the interconnection of various devices in industrial automation and control systems.

Independent module

This module is an independent Ethernet communication module and does not need to be used in conjunction with other CPUs or processors. It can work independently as a network expansion device.

Installation and Configuration

 

 

Installation method: IC697CMM741 is installed in the rack of the RX3i series and is connected to other modules of the controller through the expansion slots of the rack.

 

Software Support: Supports configuration and programming through Proficy Machine Edition or other supported development environments. Simple configuration can be done via the web interface, or network communication can be set up using PLC programming software.

Please note that the Series 90-70 LAN Interface Modules (lC697CMM741 or IC697CMM742) are not supported by the RX7i and should not be placed in an RX7irack. The RX7i CPU contains an embedded Ethernet Interface.Iff additional EthemetInterfaces are required, the RX7i Ethernet Module (IC698ETM001) should be used.
