Product Introduction
ABB BAILEY TPS02 Infi 90 TURBINE PROTECTION MODULE,the module consists of a printed circuit board that fits into a slot in the module mounting unit (MMU). The module front panel has two captive latches to secure it to the MMU. In addition, the module has three card edge connectors for external signal and power connections, namely P1, P2 and P3.

BAILEY TPS02 features:
Speed monitoring: The turbine speed is accurately monitored through magnetic sensors (MPUs), which can capture the changes in speed in time and provide accurate data for the evaluation of the turbine's operating status.
Voting configuration: The three-out-of-two voting logic is adopted to enhance the reliability of the system. The protection action will only be triggered when two or more monitoring signals indicate a fault at the same time, effectively avoiding the occurrence of false operations.
Trip relay: When overspeed or other fault conditions are detected, the trip relay can be activated to quickly shut down the turbine to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.
Communication protocol: Supports Modbus RTU and CANopen protocols, which can be seamlessly integrated with other control systems, allowing users to centrally monitor and manage the entire system.
Environmental adaptability: Designed for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments, it can withstand various adverse conditions such as high temperature, high humidity, vibration, etc., ensuring long-term and effective protection of key equipment.
