The 200-510-063-034 MPC4 and IOC4T input/output cards form a card pair, through which the MPC4 can communicate and work with other devices in the VM600 rack. At the same time, it also supports a variety of communication interfaces, such as Ethernet, serial interface, etc., which can transmit processed data to remote monitoring systems or other control devices, realize remote monitoring and management of mechanical systems, and facilitate users to understand the operating status of equipment anytime and anywhere.

When powered on, the MPC4 will perform self-test and diagnostic procedures to fully check its hardware and software to ensure that the device is operating normally. In addition, its built-in "OK system" will continuously monitor the signal levels provided by sensors and signal conditioners in the measurement chain. Once problems such as transmission line breakage, sensor or signal conditioner failure are detected, the corresponding error information will be immediately displayed through the front panel LED indicator to help maintenance personnel quickly locate and eliminate faults, thereby improving the reliability and maintainability of the device.

There are many differences between the standalone circuit version and the safety version of the VIBRO-METER MPC4 product, as follows:

The standalone circuit version is relatively more comprehensive, supports all signal processing functions, has a complete 4 dynamic signal channels and 2 tachometer channels, and can perform various complex measurements and signal processing. The safety version does not include a VME-compatible slave interface or support tachometer channels to meet specific safety certification requirements. The signal processing function is reduced, and only the core functions directly related to safety monitoring are retained.

Safety certification:

The standalone circuit version does not explicitly mention special safety certification, but because it is based on the core design of the MPC4 product, it has a certain degree of reliability and stability.
