The Bently 3500/45 differential expansion/axial position monitor is a four-channel monitor that accepts input signals from proximity eddy-current sensors, rotary position transducers (RPTs), DC linear variable differential transformers (DCLVDTs), AC linear variable differential transformers (AC LVDTs), and rotary potentiometers. The measurement type and associated sensor inputs will determine the required input/output (I/O) module. Monitor channels are programmed in pairs, each capable of performing up to two of the functions listed above. Channels 1 and 2 can perform one function, while channels 3 and 4 can perform another (or the same) function. However, only channels 3 and 4 can perform case expansion monitoring.
