Foxboro FBM207C 16-channel 48Vdc contact input interface component is a type of DCS card with an optional redundant configuration. It can connect various thermocouples, thermal resistors, linear voltage, current, resistance, and radiation (infrared) thermometers, etc. It also has an expansion input socket for installing special input specifications.

FBM207c mounts on a Modular baseplate. The baseplate can be mounted on a DIN rail (horizontally or vertically) or horizontally on a 19-inch rack using a mounting kit. Redundant modules must be located in odd and even adjacent positions on the baseplate (positions 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, or 7 and 8).

Foxboro FBM207C control function:
1. Program control: It has 30+20 segments of program control function, which can realize temperature rise and fall control with any slope, and has programmable/operable commands such as jump (loop), run, pause and stop, and allows the program to be modified at any time during the control operation of the program.
Multiple adjustment methods: It supports various adjustment methods such as standard PID, AI artificial intelligence adjustment APID, or MPT, etc. 2. It has self-tuning and self-learning functions, excellent control characteristics without overshoot and undershoot, and can also use position control (ON-OFF) function. The dual-group parameter PID can support a heating/cooling dual output function.
3. Event output and SV transmission: The event output function can be edited during program operation to cooperate with the control of external equipment actions; the SV transmission output function can be used as a program generator.Power failure/power-on event processing: It features a measurement value start function, a preparation function, and five power failure/power-on event processing modes for selection.

Communication function:
Interface type: Supports RS-485 or RS-232C communication interface. With fast communication technology, it can easily build large and medium-sized computer control systems with thousands of points or connect AI series true color human-machine interface touch screens/split paperless recorders.
