Products Description
PR6426/010-100 together with CON021 constitutes an electromagnetic eddy current displacement measurement system, which is used for continuous monitoring of the shaft vibration and shaft displacement of rotating machinery. The system acquires the gap changes on the surface of the metal shaft through a non-contact measurement method and converts them into standard electrical signals, which are then output to the monitoring or protection system.

Working principle
The system operates based on the principle of eddy current measurement:
The internal coil of the PR6426 probe generates a high-frequency alternating magnetic field.
When the metal shaft enters the magnetic field range, the eddy current effect occurs.
The change in eddy current causes a change in the probe's impedance.
CON021 converts and linearly processes this change into a signal.
The output is a standard electrical signal proportional to the shaft displacement.
The entire process achieves non-contact measurement, enabling the acquisition of continuous displacement data without mechanical contact. It is suitable for dynamic monitoring scenarios of high-speed rotating equipment.

Selection Explanation
PR6426/010-100 + CON021 must be used in a matched set.
The probe and the preamplifier need to be calibrated at the factory.
Different probe models cannot be mixed randomly. CON021
