The data between the station bus and the remote bus often requires strict physical terminal matching to ensure signal quality and prevent reflection and communication errors. The GJR2394400R0100 88TB07B, as a terminal matching component, mainly performs the following functions:

✔ Terminal matching and signal integrity preservation
In the fieldbus system, if the correct terminal matching is not achieved, it will result in signal reflection, an increase in transmission errors, and even link interruption. The 88TB07B module provides the following functions through its built-in terminal matching mechanism:
Adapts to various site bus topologies and supports single-channel or dual-channel bus wiring forms;
Provide impedance matching and noise attenuation to enable the link to maintain stable communication in industrial noise environments.
Prevent signal reflection and interference, and improve the reliability and real-time performance of bus data transmission.

✔ Data exchange and communication link support
The site bus terminal module not only performs the physical layer terminal matching function, but also undertakes some of the data exchange coordination tasks at the link layer, such as:
Monitor the link status of the data and promptly trigger alarms or perform fault isolation.
Coordinate the communication flow between the internal modules of the site and the remote sub-modules.
Support data routing and protocol consistency checks under a complex control architecture;
Operate in coordination with the control processor and I/O modules, jointly building a stable data bus ecosystem.

Bus-coupling module 88TK05 puts outa signal MST to the power supply module in order to energise the cabinet and/or cabinet row lamp. Cabinet lamp H20 and/or cabinet row lamp H21 can be activated optionally. The disturbances are announced by light-emitting diodes on the front of the disturbed module. In case all available slots are used for modules of elevated power dissipation values, the limit value for the permissible power dissipation is reached. The Ambient temperature for the cabinet may be exceeded. Above the permissible power dissipation values, an additional ventilation facility is required.

Considering plant-specific factors of simultaneous operation and considering a supply voltage of 27V at the module terminals, the cabinet may be equipped according to the table below without additional ventilation measures being required.

It is recommended to conduct periodic checks on the following items during long-term operation:
Is the external connection terminal loose or oxidised?
Is the status of the bus terminal indicator light normal?
When updating or expanding the control system, re-evaluate the terminal matching settings in conjunction with the specifications of the new modules.
