Signal input is via inputs E011 and E012. The input current isconverted into a measuring voltage using a 50 Ohm measur.ing resistor in the input circuit, The 16 measuring circuits areconnected to the analog multiplexers by the isolating amplifierindependent of the potential (200 V common-mode range).The comerted input signal is transmitted through the analogmultiplexer to an input amplifier which is provided once for all16 function units.
An analog/digital converter comerts the input signal into a12-bit data word(a 10-bit data word in the range of0 ... 5 mA).
The individually, for each function unit selectable signal rangeis indicated in the configuration list. Entries into the configura-tion list are made via the PDDS.
Measuring amplifier and analog/digital converter are moni-tored by means of reference voltages.
The digitalinput signal is connected through to the processingsection as a non-interfering signal. The processing sectionprocesses the input signal , calculates the sign, and files thedata word in the shared memory. Upon request, the modulewill send the data word to the PROCONTROL bus system inthe form of a telegram.

Installation and use:
Installation method: It can be inserted into any station belonging to the Procontrol bus system. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the module is firmly connected to the bus system and provide a stable power supply.
Interface type: It has 2 edge connectors, 1 48-pole F-type connector for station bus connection, and 1 32-pole F-type connector for process connection.
