Product Introduction
The use of piezoelectric single-crystal in the CP 502dynamic pressure transducer makes it an extremely stable and reliable device. The transducer is applicable to either long-term moni-toring of pressure pulsation in gas turbines or develop-ment testing.

New dynamic pressure sensors Gallium phosphate (GaPO4) technology
New dynamic pressure sensors for the monitoring of gas turbine (GT) combustion chambers are offered in co-operation with Piezocryst. The main benefits of this new product line are:
• Outstanding signal-to-noise ratio and linearity
• No signal emission due to temperature changes
• High signal quality at very low frequencies.
These sensors are ideally suited for high-temperature applications such as:
• GT closed loop combustion control (emissions reduction)
• GT control during critical transient phases

GaPO4 is an industrially grown single crystal which exhibits stable material quality and no ageing effects. Its technical advantages are:
• Highest internal insulation resistance of any piezo-materiel which improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
• It is not pyroelectric, which means that it does not emit signals due to temperature changes.
• Very small sensitivity deviation over temperature (up to 970o C) which allows accurate measurements over the entire temperature range.
