The MMS6000 system is EPRO's most advanced digital intelligent TSI. The system has the following main technical features:
(1) The unit is modular in structure and is installed in a 19" standard frame. It mainly includes: shaft vibration module, bearing vibration module, shaft displacement/differential expansion module, eccentric module, cylinder expansion module, communication interface module, etc.
(2) Each monitoring module is dual-channel and has a built-in single-chip microcontroller (MCU) to realize module self-test, data acquisition, data communication, monitoring and alarm functions.
(3) The module software configuration settings and module acquisition data reading are performed through the RS232/RS485 bus.
(4) The RS485 bus in the system can connect up to 31 modules/62 channels, and the maximum data communication rate is 115.2kbps.
(5) Supports live plug-in and unplug function.
(6) Dual redundant power supply module.
The MMS 6000 vibration protection system has provided vibration protection to many turbo-machinery systems all over the world since it was introduced in the late 1990s. After theacquisition of epro by Emerson in 2009, we combined the MMS 6000 system with the CS4500 prediction system to create a best-in-class CSl 6500 protection/prediction system.Moving forward, we are transitioning MMS 6000 system components to the CSl 6500branded items.
