The 3300 XL 11mm proximity sensor system is designed for displacement or vibration measurements in the frequency range from 0 to 8 kHz. Typical applications include radial vibration and displacement, axial displacement, and key phase measurements.
The 3300 XL 11mm probe is available in a variety of probe holders, including armored and unarmored probes with 1/2-20, 5/8-18, M14×1.5, and M16×1.5 probe threads. The rear-mounted 3300 XL 11mm probe features standard 3/8-24 or M10×1 threads. All sensor system components feature ClickLoc™ gold-plated copper connectors that lock into place, preventing loose connections. Patented TipLoc™ molded technology ensures a secure connection between the probe tip and body. The probe cable is securely connected to the probe tip using the patented CableLoc™ design, capable of withstanding a pull-out force of 330 N (75 lb).
The 3300 XL probe and extension cable can be ordered with an optional FluidLoc® cable, which prevents oil and other liquids from leaking out of the machine along the cable. Connector protectors provide additional protection for connectors in wet environments and are recommended for all installations to enhance environmental adaptability. The 3300 XL 11mm probe also comes standard with a locknut and safety wire guide.
Note:
1. The Proximitor Sensor is factory-calibrated on AISI 4140 steel. Calibration for other tip materials is available upon request.
2. Silicone tape can be applied to each 3300XL extension cable in place of the connector protector. However, silicone tape is not recommended for connections between the probe and extension cable that are exposed to machine fluids.
