Westinghouse Ovation™ 8 Channel Analog Input Module 1C31224G01 -Supports high-speed fast Ethernet for controlling the network, is compatible with mainstream communication protocols such as OPC, ODBC, and NetDDE, and relies on the fully redundant Pentium PC controller of Emerson OVATION system to ensure the continuity of signal transmission and processing; modular design combined with intuitive programming tools simplifies system configuration and post-maintenance work.

Westinghouse 1C31224G01 is a dedicated input/output module for Emerson's Ovation control system, responsible for the critical link functions of "sensor signal acquisition - digital signal conversion - actuator command output". The module receives temperature, pressure, flow, etc., through 32 input channels, and after being processed by the internal signal processing unit, it is transmitted to the Ovation main controller.

System working principle:
Signal acquisition stage: Sensors (such as temperature, pressure, position, etc.) convert physical quantities into electrical signals, which are transmitted to the module through the input channel. The module then performs filtering and amplification processing on the signals.
Signal conversion and transmission stage: The core processing unit converts analog signals into digital signals, which are transmitted via the PROFIBUS-DP bus to the Ovation main controller. At the same time, it receives control instructions issued by the controller.
Instruction execution stage: The module converts digital control instructions into electrical signals, which are transmitted through the output channel to drive the actuator to operate, completing the industrial control logic.
Protection mechanism linkage: If abnormal conditions such as overcurrent, overvoltage, or overheating are detected, the protection circuit immediately triggers, turns off the power devices, and lights up the LED alarm light. A manual reset is required before normal operation can resume.

System Compatibility:
Hardware Compatibility: Only compatible with the Emerson Ovation PLC system, supports expansion combination with the same series of digital/analog modules;
Software Compatibility: Supports Windows NT and Solaris operating systems, is compatible with Oracle embedded database, is compatible with SST ProfiBus configuration tool, and COM PROFIBUS configuration software.;
Network Compatibility: Can be connected to factory local area network / wide area network, supports data intercommunication with HMI (human-machine interface), SCADA system (data acquisition and monitoring system).

Installation environment requirements:
Temperature conditions: Operating temperature: -40°C to 70°C; Storage temperature: -40°C to 85°C (avoid direct sunlight and close contact with heat sources)
Vibration and shock: The installation location should be away from strong vibration sources (such as pumps and motors), with vibration frequency ≤ 5Hz and shock acceleration ≤ 10g
Installation space: Reserve a minimum of 10cm of cooling space around the module. The substrate installation surface should be flat, free of dust and oil, and have good ventilation.
Protection requirements: The installation area must meet an  IP67 protection environment (dust-proof, water-proof, explosion-proof), and avoid contact with dust and corrosive gases.
