Emerson EPRO 6823A is a communication interface module for rotating machinery vibration monitoring, which belongs to the MMS6000 series of Emerson EPRO products. This module is mainly used for data communication and processing with other modules of the MMS6000 system, and can convert the received characteristic value data, alarm and module status data into standard MODBUS protocol or TCP/IP protocol. It supports RS485 input and can output data through Ethernet interface.
 

The module has the following features:

  • Supports two data output modes: MODBUS RTU/ASCII and Ethernet TCP/IP.
  • Non-contact measurement, suitable for monitoring the displacement of rotating machinery.
  • Adopts 19-inch standard rack module, easy to integrate into MMS6000 system.
  • Provides redundant power supply to ensure reliable operation within the voltage range of 18-31.2V DC.

 

Applications
This module is widely used in large and medium-sized rotating machinery in the power, petrochemical, coal mining and metallurgical industries, such as steam turbine generator sets, turbines, motors, compressors, pumps and fans, etc.
