KJ4001X1-NA1 is a horizontal LocalBus double right cable extender for Emerson DeltaV system. : It is widely used in industrial automation control systems, suitable for collecting various industrial signals such as temperature, pressure, flow, etc., and converting them into digital signals for processing and control. It can be used with controllers such as PLC and DCS to realize automatic control of industrial processes.

*Warning: This product has specific instructions for installation, removal and operation in hazardous areas. Removal and Insertion

This unit cannot be removed or inserted with system power energized.

Power must be de-energized before disconnecting any carriers or LocalBus Extender cables.

This product must not be unplugged unless either the system has been de-energized or the area is known to be safe. No combination of I/O carriers and LocalBus Extenders must exceed a length of 6.5 meters. Interconnecting cable between enclosures must be in conduit.

Maintenance and Adjustment

This unit contains no user serviceable parts and should not be disassembled for any reason. Calibration is not required.

• Network Infrastructure: The system operates on a dual-redundant LAN with 10M/100M Ethernet capabilities. All system nodes, such as operator stations and control units, are connected directly to this network. For enhanced communication security, two distinct networks are established using separate network hubs and cables, which then interface with the primary and secondary ports of the workstations and controllers.
• User Interface: Acting as the interface between humans and the system, the workstation is available in various configurations including the ProfessionalPlus, operator, and application workstations. These are equipped with the latest INTEL processors and operate on a 32-bit WindowsNT OS, featuring a 21" high-resolution color flat-panel display for clear, direct viewing.
• Control Unit: This high-performance control unit is furnished with sophisticated control features, supports plug-and-play and hot-swap functionalities, and can automatically identify card types and allocate addresses.
• Input/Output Modules: A range of I/O modules is offered to meet the varying requirements for field signal acquisition and output, including analog, digital, and specialized I/O. The traditional I/O cards are designed with an 8-channel decentralized architecture, with each channel insulated from the field for improved safety and dependability.
