Emerson DeltaV System
System Configuration:
- Control Network: The system utilizes a 10M/100M Ethernet-based redundant LAN. All nodes, including operation stations and controllers, are directly linked to this control network. To ensure communication security, two separate networks are created through distinct network hubs and connection cables, which are then connected to the primary and secondary network ports of the workstation and controller respectively.
- Workstation: Serving as the system's human-machine interface, the workstation comes in various forms such as the ProfessionalPlus workstation, operator workstation, and application workstation. These workstations are powered by the latest INTEL processors and run on a 32-bit WindowsNT operating system, complete with a 21" high-resolution color flat-panel monitor for clear right-angle viewing.
- Controller: This high-performance controller is equipped with advanced control functionalities, supports plug-and-play and hot swap capabilities, and can automatically detect card types and assign addresses.
- I/O Modules: A variety of I/O modules are available, including analog, digital, and specialized I/O, to accommodate diverse field signal acquisition and output needs. Traditional I/O cards feature an 8-channel decentralized design with each channel being isolated from the field for enhanced safety and reliability.
