3500 Series Machinery Detection System's Electronic Overspeed Detection System by Bently Nevada offers a redundant tachometer solution that is both highly dependable and swiftly responsive, tailored for integration into overspeed protection systems. This system is specifically crafted to fulfill the overspeed protection demands outlined in American Petroleum Institute Standards 670 and 612.
Modules from the 3500/53 series can be integrated to establish either a 2-out-of-2 or a 2-out-of-3 (the recommended configuration) voting mechanism for enhanced system reliability. It is mandatory to employ redundant power supplies within a 3500 rack that houses the Overspeed Detection System to ensure its continuous operation.
