Product Introduction
The 3500/15 is a half-height module that must be installed in the designated slot on the left side of the rack. A 3500 rack can contain one or two power supplies, which can be any combination of alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). Either power supply can power the entire rack. If two power supplies are installed, the power supply in the lower slot acts as the primary power source and the power supply in the upper slot acts as the backup power source. As long as the second power supply is installed, the removal or insertion of either power supply module will not interrupt the operation of the rack.

The 3500/15 power supply modules accept a wide range of AC/DC voltages and frequencies worldwide and can be fully redundantly supplied to ensure uninterrupted performance.
All monitoring modules are software configurable through the 3500's transient data interface module (TDI) and feature a key lockout feature to prevent unauthorized tampering.
Each dynamic input signal is conveniently available through a front-panel buffered output connector for easy connection to portable and test instruments.
I/O modules can be ordered with or without built-in intrinsic safety (I.S.) barriers to reduce wiring, improve accuracy, and lower installation costs in hazardous environments where intrinsic safety installation practices are required.
Monitoring module channels provide analog 4-20 milliamp (mA) ratiometric outputs for use in process control systems and other instrumentation.
Input Voltage Options:
Universal AC Power Supply: Input voltage range is 110 to 220 Vac, 85 to 264 Vac rms, 120 to 373 Vac pk.
High Voltage DC Power Supply: Input voltage range is 88 to 140 Vdc.
Low Voltage DC Power Supply: Input voltage range is 20 to 30 Vdc.
