Bently Nevada 125800-01 Enhanced Keyphasor Module is used to receive signals from a half-height, dual-channel keyphasor module and detect the alignment of the keyphasor mark on the shaft through a magnetic sensor or proximity probe, and then convert the input signal to a digital keyphasor signal for use by the monitoring module in the 3500 monitoring system.
It can accept up to four primary keyphasor input signals and can be configured into two paired and one unpaired keyphasor modules to meet different monitoring needs.
It can accurately identify the keyphasor signal generated once or multiple times per rotation of the rotating shaft or gear, thereby measuring the shaft speed and vector characteristics such as 1x vibration amplitude and phase.

The core workflow of the 125800-01 module is as follows:
-- Signal Acquisition
Receive analog signals from the proximity probe or magnetic pickup sensor
-- Signal Detection
Detect the moment when the Keyphasor mark on the shaft aligns with the sensor
-- Signal Conversion
Convert the analog signal into standard digital Keyphasor pulses
-- Signal Output
Output to the 3500 monitoring module or an external analysis system
3500/25 Enhanced Keyphasor Module, a two-channel, half-height device, serves to supply Keyphasor signals to the monitoring units within a 3500 rack. This module takes in signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups and translates them into digital Keyphasor signals, pinpointing the moment the Keyphasor mark on the shaft aligns with the Keyphasor transducer.
The Enhanced Keyphasor Module represents an advancement in the 3500 system, boasting enhanced Keyphasor signal processing capabilities while ensuring full backward compatibility with existing Keyphasor modules for integration into legacy systems. The PWA 125792-01 Keyphasor module has been entirely superseded by the upgraded 149369-01 module.
For systems requiring Keyphasor input in Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) applications, the 3500 system should utilize two Keyphasor modules operating in parallel to supply both primary and secondary Keyphasor signals to other modules in the rack.
In systems with more than four Keyphasor inputs, a paired configuration is permissible, provided there are no more than four primary Keyphasor input signals. This setup necessitates two consecutive monitoring slots, either in the upper/lower or both half-slot positions. Four Keyphasor modules will handle four primary and four backup input channels, offering four output channels (one per module).
A configuration comprising two paired and one non-paired Keyphasor modules (a total of three) is also feasible. In this arrangement, users can configure the non-paired Keyphasor module with either two 2-channel or one 1-channel and one 2-channel option.
