Intended Use: This module is designed to monitor shaft speed, rotor acceleration, and direction.
Input Signal: Accepts input signal from proximity probe or magnetic pickup (with limitations).
User Set Alarm: Compares measured value to user programmable alarm setpoint and generates alarm if setpoint is violated.
Configuration Options: Four configuration options are available including Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarm, Speed Band Alarm, Zero Speed Notification, Rotor Acceleration Alarm, and Reverse Rotation Notification.
