T9451 features:
Safety protocol support: Supports PROFIsafe safety protocol to meet the needs of safety-critical applications.
Integrated safety functions: Integrated safety functions such as emergency stop, two-hand control, and interlocking enhance system safety.
Channel status monitoring: Each channel has voltage and load current monitoring functions, reverse current protection, short circuit and open circuit monitoring, which can monitor output status in real time and protect modules and external devices.
Output protection: When the channel load exceeds the safety limit, the output channel protection is activated. The reverse voltage protection circuit of each output channel ensures that the externally applied voltage does not generate current flowing into the module output.
The T9892 Terminal Assembly module operates in conjunction with the T9451 Digital Output Module and provides 8 dual configuration output channels. It shares the same pin-out as the standard AADvance T9852 Digital Output Terminal Assembly and has the same coding peg configuration. The difference is that the T9892 has a separate connector for the field power input voltage connections (the leftmost terminal block shown below). It also has additional fusing to give extra protection against field faults.
The installation steps of the ICS T9451 product are as follows:
1. Pre-installation inspection: Visually inspect the module for damage, ensure that the module housing is intact, and check whether the I/O connector on the back of the module has bent pins.
2. Preparation: Ensure that the field cable assembly is installed in place and in the correct position. If using I/O module keys, check that all keys are installed in the correct position.
Release the ejection tab: Use the release key to release the ejection tab on the module, making sure the ejector tab is fully open.
3. Insert the module: Hold the module and carefully insert it into the predetermined slot. The module is usually self-aligning and can align itself.
4. Push the module tightly: Push the module fully into place by pressing the top and bottom of the module panel.
5. Close the ejector: Close the module ejector and make sure they click into the locked position.
