Product Introduction
The VME Bus Master Controller (VCMI) board is the communication interface between the controller and the I/O boards, and the communication interface to the system control network, known as IONet. VCMI is also the VME bus master in the control and I/O racks, and manages the IDs for all the boards in the rack and their associated terminal boards.

The IS200VCMIH communication interface board is designed to be installed in slot one of the central control module.
Features:
Communication control: As the bus master controller, it is an internal communication control card that manages VME bus data transmission, realizes operation synchronization between system components, allows I/O cards in the rack or other control or protection modules to communicate with each other, and plays a key role in multi-redundant systems. For example, in a triple redundant system, three VCMI cards are installed in different control modules, and data is exchanged and voted between cards and executed by the processor card.
Protocol support: Use IEEE 1588 protocol IONet for inter-module data transmission. IONet is a dedicated Ethernet designed by GE for I/O components and controllers on Mark series cards.
Status indication: The front panel has a 9-pin serial port, three DIN connectors (IONet1, IONet2 and IONet3), a reset switch and twenty LED indicators, which can be used to view and judge the working status of the device.

Product Diagnostics:
The internal +5 V, ±12 V, ±15 V, and ±28 V power supply buses are monitored and alarmed. The alarm settings are configurable and usually set at 3.5%, except for the 28 V supplies, which are set at 5.5%.
Diagnostic signals from the power distribution module (PDM), connected through J301, are also monitored. These include ground fault and over/under voltage on the P125 V bus,two differential ±5 V dc analog inputs, P28A and PCOM for external monitor circuits,and digital inputs.
