Why choose our products
FCP270 (P0917YZ) is a field control processor (Field Control Processor) in the Foxboro I/A Series Distributed Control System (DCS), serving as the "control brain" of the system. It is installed in the field control cabinet and is responsible for implementing control strategies, data acquisition, logical operations, and alarm processing. It also connects to field devices via the field bus (FBM module) to enable real-time control and monitoring of the entire process.
--Process Control and Logical Operations
Carry out PID, sequential control, logical control, etc.
Support the operation of complex control strategies.
--Data Collection and Processing
Collect on-site signals through the FBM module
Real-time processing of analog and digital quantity data
--Alarm and Incident Management
Automatically detect abnormal conditions
Trigger the alarm and upload to the system
--Redundancy and Fault-Tolerance Control
Support dual-machine redundancy (Fault-tolerant)
Automatic switching to prevent system interruption

FCP270 (P0917YZ) compatible base plate
The FCP270 P0917YZ Field Control Processor is a distributed, optionally fault-tolerant, field-mounted controller module. The FCP270 performs regulatory, logic, timing, and sequential control together with connected Fieldbus Modules. It also performs data acquisition, alarm detection, and notification. The FCP270 connects to the MESH control network via standard fiber optic 100 Mbps Ethernet. The fault-tolerant version of the FCP270 consists of two processor modules. These modules install in adjacent FCP270 slots in a supported FCP270 baseplate for high-speed communication between the modules.
FCP270 supports the following types of motherboards:
--2 bottom plate of the tank (specific for FCP)
Suitable for single-machine or redundant configurations:
P0926HW (Vertical installation, FCP270-specific)
P0926HC (Laid Flat, FCP270 Special)
--4-slot combined base plate
Support for the hybrid deployment of FCP and FBM:
P0926HJ (1×FCP + 3×FBM)
P0926HF (2×FCP + 2×FBM)
P0926JC / P0926JF (vertical installation version)
--8-slot base plate
P0926HT (horizontal installation)
P0926JM (Vertical Installation)
