ABB HIEE410513P102

The HIEE410513P102 board in the standard ACS 1000 air or water cooled converters is installed in the middle section of the cabinet inside an EMC box. In the same metal box is also the ADCVlboard.

Proceed as follows:
1. Deenergize and ground the converter; only the flash memory has to be replaced; the AMC board can remain in the cabinet. It is also not necessary to disconnect the fiber-optic cables.
2. Note the orientation of the white dot on the board for later reference before removing HIEE410513P102.

3. Remove HIEE410513P102 by holding it with both hands and straining away.

4. When attaching the new HIEE410513P102, make sure that the white dot on the PCB is on top of that on the AMC board.

5. Press the HIEE410513P102 firmly down to make sure that all pins are inserted properly.

6. Put the defective board in an antistatic bag.
7. Power up the converter and confirm its proper functioning

If the defective board has to be returned to ABB, particularly if the component is still under warranty, follow the procedures as stated in the Warranty Directive (this is recommended even if the warranty period has expired).
